The adventure of life gives us the incredible opportunity to learn and grow as individuals. I like to say that we do not stop learning, stretching, growing, maturing, and changing until we are 6 feet under. What happens so often is we go through life unaware that we dont know what we dont know. In this fast-paced world, many of us do not have or take the time to sit, take a deep breath, and really think about the statements addressed in these assessments. We usually do not reflect on and consider the impact the answers to these statements can have on our relationship. We must gain the awareness, learn the techniques, and practice the skills to Co-Create a Conscious Relationship. Take your time to think about each statement and be honest. One partner should use a black pen and the other partner a red pen. Rate your degree of agreement for each statement on a scale from 1 to 10, with 10 being a definite yes and 1 being a definite no. Write your score on the first line to the left of each statement. The second line is for your partners score. You may find it difficult to give certain statements a low score. You may worry that your response will hurt or offend your partner or create conflict. Honesty, however, is critical for the success of the Co-Create a Conscious Relationship program. Also, no matter what score your partner writes down, be supportive; do not get defensive, resentful, or angry. Thank him or her for being courageous and honest. All of the topics in this assessment series are covered in detail, with exercises, in my book The Journey from I-TO-WE. If your total is: 80 or higher — You scored in the upper percentile Congratulations! You have obviously taken the time to work, ensuring your relationship has the best chance to be successful. Though your relationship is strong, it can only benefit from gaining new awareness, new skills, and new techniques. Good luck in Co-Creating a Conscious Relationship! 60 79 — You scored in the average range Congratulations! Re-read the statements you scored low on and take the time to learn how to raise your score. You and the relationship will be much stronger on The Journey from I-TO-WE. 0 59 — You scored in the lower range Congratulations! You now know where you need to take the time to closely examine these areas of your relationship. It would benefit both of you to think about these statements, and work toward Co-Creating a Conscious Relationship through gaining new awareness, new skills, and new techniques. Commit to each other to give unselfishly and unconditionally to do whatever you need to do to make each other feel safe, loved and cared for I hope this part of this assessment has been enlightening and helpful. Everything You Ever Wanted To Know About Lawsuits

June 19th, 2008 by envoypfeilschifter

By Eric Morris A civil action that is initiated in a court of law to restore a privilege of an individual or procure compensation for an injury is called a lawsuit. A lawsuit is commonly engaged in the resolution of dispute between individuals, business organizations or non-profit entities. A large number of lawsuits are resolved without much difficulty and do not ever go to trial, but they can occasionally be involved in a very complex procedure. This generally applies to centralized systems in which a central court may take recourse to state law, or the other way around. The legal tangle can be compounded when one state makes use of the law of another, and is vague about which court in reality has authority over the defendant. Usually the lawsuit commences when the claimant files an objection with the court. This objection generally mentions that the claimant is looking for compensation from a declared defendant. The summons is then issued by the clerk of the court to the defendant, to inform him that legal action is being taken against him and give him an account of the type of the claims. After the defendant obtains this announcement, he is given a cut-off date to file a reply clearing up his defenses to the plaintiff’s demand. Discovery comprises the initial phases of the lawsuit. This is the structured exchange of declarations and proofs. Discovery is aimed at removing the element of shock, and elucidates the nature of the lawsuit. This also affords the party the opportunity to decide whether they should resolve or withdraw the case without unnecessarily draining the courts resources. Lawsuits provides detailed information on Lawsuits, Mesothelioma Lawsuits, Frivolous Lawsuits, Medical Malpractice Lawsuits and more. Lawsuits is affiliated with Lawsuit Funding Companies. Green House Gardening Tips and Tricks

June 1st, 2008 by envoypfeilschifter

By Percy Troughton Gardening enthusiasts in the more interesting temperate climates and any place where there are four seasons are faced with great benefits as well as challenges. Because of the four seasons, gardeners are blessed with huge plant varieties conducive for planting on one or two of the seasons. In the period of a year, they are given an opportunity to plant varieties that must grow in cooler climates, and take advantage of the sunny summer to plant those that would require more exposure to the sun. However, the seasonality of plant varieties may pose challenges to those who would rather grow plants continuously, regardless of season. This is especially true for flower and fruit varieties that require continuous sunlight for an entire year, for example, or fruit and vegetable perennials that do not bear fruit and instead shrivel up in the winter. The response to these challenges is the creation of greenhouses or greenhouse facilities. A greenhouse is a structure made of glass or plastic that stores up the suns rays in order to simulate the temperatures in the spring all year long inside. By storing up heat inside a greenhouse, it allows individuals to grow plants continuously even while winter rages hard outside it. Greenhouses also go by the name glasshouses or hothouses. The glass or plastic used in the construction of greenhouses are specially designed to have transmission qualities that will allow for the suns ultraviolet rays to be stored inside the greenhouse facility, providing a warm atmosphere inside, and in effect, warming the plants and the soil. A greenhouse leaves little or no openings through which the air heated by the stored sunlight can escape; leaving a small window or hatch open in a greenhouse will lead to a drastic drop in temperatures. The general idea of a greenhouse is to protect temperature and climate sensitive plants from extreme shifts in temperatureeither too hot or too cold. Maintaining a greenhouse has its own share of toil. Unlike the normal outdoor environment, which may be left to its own devices to some extent as nature creates some degree of balance, a greenhouse must be placed under strict regulation. Inside the greenhouse is a controlled environment that must simulate the outdoors without overdoing it. For a start, it must regulate heat and humidity inside the facility. Other factors to be considered are irrigation of the plants (and sufficiency of the water available to them), light exposure, and the presence of pests and diseases must be put into great consideration. Moreover, due to the fact that the spring outdoors is sealed into a single facility, natural activities like pollination must be simulated by the introduction of species that will help make this possible. Bumblebees are the most popular option for pollinators in greenhouses. It is recommended that greenhouses be built in the southeast portion of the property. It is in this way that the minimal sunlight available during the winter will be maximized by the greenhouse. Moreover, the house can serve to protect the greenhouse from strong winter blizzards coming in from the north. Greenhouses may be built attached to a house, or as stand-alone structures. The latter option provides more growing room for the greenhouse facility. While it may seem that there is too much to do in order to simply start a greenhouse, gardening enthusiasts will be more than willing to vouch for greenhouses, especially if gardening is a hobby. Gardening affords even the busiest of folks to tend to their plants when they are available. With a greenhouse, the constraints of day and night, and even the seasons, are put in the backseat. Greenhouses provide the option of tending to gardens even at night because lighting and heat is consistently present inside the structure. Moreover, it gives gardeners the ability to plant exotic flowers and fruits that are usually grown in warmer tropical areas as they are able to control light exposure and heat inside the greenhouse. Green houses may even provide profit-making possibilities for gardeners. With potted plants for indoor growing and flowers growing in demand, greenhouse owners are given opportunities to sell what they grow inside their greenhouses to buffer whatever maintenance costs they incur along the way. In the higher-latitude territories, greenhouses carry the important task of growing fresh produce in areas where the climates are harsh and cruel on plants. This is one of the biggest reasons for huge greenhouse facilities that house vegetables and fruits more than flowers and exotic foliage. At the end of the day, greenhouses allow for the creation of a miniaturized and highly controlled natural environment to suit gardening needs. Its growing potential to provide for fresh produce in territories even with the instability of global climate proves to be a benefit that may be explored in the future. Long Term Unsecured Loan?

May 26th, 2008 by envoypfeilschifter

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Toni_Phelps]Toni Phelps In order to understand qualifications for loan approval, let’s examine the typesof loans; secured and unsecured, and the two types ofre-payment plans: short term and long term. Secured loans have both short and long term repayment plans. These types ofloans are secured by a form of collateral, such as the equity in a home or auto. Some lenders will also accept stocks and bonds as security against the loan. Because these types of loans are secured, the risk to lenders is minimized andallows borrowers to enjoy lower interest rates than unsecured loans. And; evenif there are still payments due on an existing auto or home loan, it’s possibleto get a lower rate than the original loan terms, particularly if the borrower’scredit had improved. Unsecured loans generally have only a short term repayment plan. The most commontype of unsecured loan is a payday cash advance, or a signature (personal loan)from a bank. The payday cash advance is a much shorter term loan, most commonlyto extend only until the recipient’s following payday. A bank signatureloan; however, generally has a one year repayment plan. Another main differencebetween these two types of loans is how the interest rate is calculated. Apayday cash advance charges a fee instead of an interest rate, but Federalregulations require lenders to provide an "interest computation" soborrowers can compare rates amongst various loan products and lenders. When a payday cash advance fee is transformed to an interest rate, the sum ismuch higher than a bank signature loan, which is an actual percentage ratecharged over the duration of the loan. But there’s yet one more differencebetween these two loans which makes payday cash advances more accessible.Whereas a bank signature loan requires favorable credit, a payday cash advancedoes not, making this an attractive loan for bad credit people. Your credit rating, assets, and the eagerness of a lender to issue a loan, alldetermine which types of loans you are qualified for. If you have favorablecredit, consult your local bank loan officer or; if you desire a business loan, your local SBA. If you have troubled credit, instead of seeking a longterm unsecured loan, consider alternatives such as using your home or auto ascollateral for a secured long term loan, or consider a payday cash advance for ashort term unsecured loan. Overweight? Watch Out!

May 17th, 2008 by envoypfeilschifter

By Gang Deng A new study shows that being overweight in mid-life substantially increased the risk of dying of heart disease later when they get older. This finding is based on a research by Northwestern University as result of tracking 17,643 patients for 3 decades. Even people with healthy blood pressure and cholesterol levels when the study began are not safer. Overweight people are more likely to have heart disease, as they are more likely to have a higher blood pressure and cholesterol. Both hike the risk of heart disease. Statistics shows obesity can cause heart attacks, strokes and diabetes. So if your weight is above normal level, you need to shed a few pounds for the sake of your health. How do you know for sure if you are overweight or not? You can tell that by your Body Mass Index, BMI for short. Generally speaking, a person whose BMI index is above 25 is considered overweight. BMI Weight StatusBelow 18.5 Underweight 18.5 24.9 Normal 25.0 29.9 Overweight 30.0 and Above Obese You can calculate your BMI by the following formula: English Formula BMI= weight in pounds/(height in inches x height in inches) x 703 Metric Formula BMI= weight in kilograms/(height in meters x height in meters) Even if you dont quite mind being overweight, its better to keep your weight at normal level for your health. [Conflict Resolution] The Philosophy of Fear and Confrontation

May 14th, 2008 by envoypfeilschifter

By Charlie Badenhop Is there now, or has there been, a person or two in your life that you have difficulty in maintaining a civil relationship with at times? It may be your spouse or lover; it may be a friend or a superior at work. We usually say “I have a love-hate relationship with this person.” Fight OR Flight; Attack OR Evade; Right OR Wrong; All OR Nothing; Win OR Lose - all are a form of what we can call “The Philosophy of Fear and Confrontation.” When we believe that a potential outcome has only two possible alternatives we come from a place of scarcity thinking and invariably add a good deal of stress to the system being addressed and limit what is possible. In every interpersonal conflict both sides wind up wounded, albeit one side perhaps more than the other. Whenever a person feels that you must be wrong in order for me to be right, we invariably denigrate not only the other person’s point of view, but their overall character as well. We move away from attacking the issues at hand, and get involved in attacking each other. Arguing between right and wrong is often simply an excuse to prove myself somehow superior to you. “With my superior insight, with my superior intellect and knowledge, with my superior position in the world, I look to show you how your perception of reality is incorrect.” When I think of you and your opinions as being somehow inferior to me and my opinions, it is no wonder that you are not willing to agree with the opinions I put forth. In order to agree with my opinions, you would have to be willing to believe that you are somehow inferior to me. When engaging in conflict resolution with others, staying locked into grappling between one of two possible outcomes requires that we both shut down our ability to notice additional alternative realities. When two individuals are locked into a confrontational mode of exchange, both parties to the conflict lose the possibility of acquiring information that might offer generative solutions that either side has yet to think of. We lose the possibility of understanding that in some important way, our limited range of thinking tends to make both of us somehow “wrong.” Or, to say it another way, we fail to realize that “We are both, both wrong and right, at the same time.” We lose touch with the fact that given new sources of information, both of us might come to a different opinion. Often, the first step in successful conflict resolution requires that you acknowledge that your philosophy of fear and confrontation limits your ability to notice how a different way of thinking and a different way of using your body, would lead to a much wider field of possibilities. For the average person, the more you feel attacked, the more you will look to defend. The more you look to defend, the more you narrow your field of vision, tighten up various muscle groups, and limit the flow of blood and oxygen in your system. And guess what happens at such times. When my adversary notices that I am preparing to defend, he perceives instead that I am preparing to attack him. What does he do in this instance? Why the very same thing that I am doing! He tenses up and prepares for the worst. In this moment of entering into mortal combat we get swept away by the vortex of fear and confrontation that is being generated by the both of us. When we react from this place of “high alert” on a regular basis, we quickly wind up weakening our immune system, and severely limit our ability to defend ourselves from the onslaught of physical and emotional disease. In Aikido this leads us to say that “The best defense is no defense,” which is another way of saying “The less defensive you are, the better able you are to defend yourself.” Charlie Badenhop is the originator of Seishindo, an Aikido instructor, NLP trainer, and Ericksonian Hypnotherapist. What Happens to a Soul When the Body Dies?

May 9th, 2008 by envoypfeilschifter

By David Becker Every person conceived in the womb of a woman has a soul. The soul of a person contains everything that person is and has the potential of becoming. The body is the container of the soul, and under most usual conditions the soul remains within the body until released by death to the body. Once the soul leaves the body of a believer in Jesus Christ, it is called the spirit. According to the Word of God, there are several things that can happen at the moment of bodily death, depending on the spiritual state of the soul at the moment of death. Before we discuss, these conditions we must first understand the reason for death. Death must come to every human being to free them from the hold of sin. Every person is born into sin, and every person must die to release them from sin. Sin cannot remain in a dead body, thus…..sin dies when the body dies. 1. When a faithful Christian has received the Baptism of Jesus Christ, he is actually going to his grave at that moment. Death is brought to him under the baptismal waters, and the hold of sin within his body is brought to death. Once bodily death (painless) comes to a Christian, the spirit of the Christian is immediately released, and ascends to Heaven for a period of rest until the establishment of the New Earth. The ascended spirit is given a new container (or body) while in Heaven. 2. When a not so faithful Christian, who has received the promise of salvation through Jesus Christ, but not received the baptism, then he goes to his grave for a while. This Christian’s soul lies in the grave, within the decaying body, until it is resurrected by Jesus Christ during the rapture period. The spirit is then risen up into Heaven for a short time while the End Things are being done on earth through the Judgments of Jesus Christ. 3. Christian Martyrs who defend and die by their choice to uphold the Word and Being of the LORD GOD and Jesus Christ also remain with the body at death. Going to the grave for the Word of God completes this martyrdom. Their spirits receive resurrection during the rapture period, where they go to Heaven for a time, then on to the New Earth to receive great honor and position. 4. Most Jew’s souls sleep in their graves until resurrected to the Judgment Seat of Jesus Christ. At their Judgment, they will be judged according to the law of the LORD GOD. Those righteously obedient Jews will go on to the New Earth and receive their inheritance as promised by the LORD GOD, and those who are wickedly disobedient sent to eternal punishment. 5. Common people, who have no belief or faith in Jesus Christ, die within their bodies. At the moment of their death they sometimes feel great pain and sometimes even a similitude of peace when they have been tricked by false doctrines and beliefs in their life. At the moment of their death, most souls go to sleep inside the dead body, and lay in their grave until resurrected to stand before the Judgment Seat of Jesus Christ. In very rare cases, distressed souls or those woken from the dead by the unscrupulous living, wander about without their body, seeking answers that can not be found. On that Last Judgment Day, Jesus Christ will weigh the things the common people did in life, and judge them accordingly. Those who have not followed the Word of God and accepted Jesus Christ as Savior in their lifetime, are guaranteed a certain verdict of guilty, and a promised damnation into Hell, a place of eternal punishment. Death to all living bodies brings death to sin. The soul is released from the dead body according to rules of the LORD GOD that are written for all to see in His Word. Once a person has died, change cannot be accomplished to the spiritual destiny of the soul. It is vital that a person prepare his soul before death comes, and wise for the person to embrace the Word of God, and accept the unearned salvation and resurrection of Jesus Christ, before it is too late. 2006 David “Bucker” Becker - All Rights Reserved Worldwide. Saving Your Marriage - What To Do When You’re On The Brink Of Disaster

May 3rd, 2008 by envoypfeilschifter

By Todd Marsha On your wedding day, I bet the furthest thought from your mind was “What happens if this marriage doesn’t work out?” As time goes by things change. You find that you’re not in the same place as you were when you got married. Things have happened in your marriage. You don’t communicate the same way you used to. Perhaps your partner hasn’t been faithful. What do you do? Do you consider divorce? If you’re like most Americans, you do. Divorces are common these days. In fact, half of our marriages end in divorce now. What happens when you get divorced? Quite a bit, actually. First of all, one of you needs to find a new place to live. Second of all, if you have children, you must create a plan for when the children will be with each parent. Does one parent get full custody with visitation for the other? Is custody shared? Holidays, vacations, they all have to be planned out ahead of time and put into a calendar. Next, you have to split up everything you own. Remember all the flatware and dinner plates you received as wedding gifts? Well, your sixteen piece service just became an eight piece service. Your spouse got the vacuum cleaner, you kept the stereo, your spouse got the Christmas tree, and the list goes on. Oh yeah, almost forgot. One you may be paying child support, alimony or both. 401k’s and other investments get divided up. Perhaps other properties or expensive belongings you have must be sold. Hope you weren’t attached to anything. Finally, you have to have some sort of legal proceeding involving attorneys, mediators and a judge to do the final divorce decree. I’ve never known anything involving the word “legal” to be cheap. Now those were all the things involving money. Really the money is just a small part of it. Divorce’s biggest impact is on people, especially children. Picture in your mind that conversation when you sit the children down and tell them that Mommy and Daddy don’t love each other the way they used to and one of them won’t be living here anymore. The children, who may be too young to fully grasp the concept of divorce, are now being shuttled back and forth between two homes every few days. They need clothes and toys for Mommy’s house and Daddy’s house. They need to get used to the fact that their bed at Mommy’s is more comfortable, but Daddy has better TV. The kids at school may say things and look at them differently. They probably need to start seeing counselors to work through alot of their questions and feelings about what has happened. What if your ex starts to say things about you, that aren’t very nice, to your children? What if you start dating again and your ex says means things to them about your new “friend”? Your parents are effected too. Now they may need to become more involved in child care or assisting you financially. Your parents also have to deal with issues they have about the divorce. “What did I do wrong? Did I put too much pressure on my child to get married? Did I alienate their spouse or cause some kind of friction? Am I the reason they split up?” These are all very deep issues and I hope you never have to tackle them in your lifetime. But half of you will and the numbers get worse every day. There are resources available to you that can help you start repairing your marriage immediately. You may not want to acknowledge your marital difficulties to your pastor, friends, or even a licensed marriage counselor. If you don’t, there are things you can do, on your own and right now, to stop hurting and start saving your marriage. First, sit down and talk with your spouse. Be honest about your feelings. Now is not the time to hold back. Second, invest in a good book. There are great resources available that can give you practical tips to start using today. These techniques work, even if only one of you is committed to working on them. Third, get your family involved. Maybe they can take the children for a couple days while you start working things out with your spouse. Maybe a sibling or another relative has gone through the same thing but never really talked about it. The information they provide could help more than you expected. Just remember, you have options and you have resources. You can decide right here and now to stop the damage, stop the pain, and stop the slow decline of your marriage. If you do something, you may be able to recapture the love and remember why you got married in the first place. If you do nothing, your marriage will fail and many of those things we talked about above we start to become a reality. Todd Marsha is just a regular guy who loves being married. Interpreting his male body language has never been easier! 1: Shifting his weight back and forth on his heels. This is considered to be subconsciously a mirroring of knee trembling. One of the surest body language gestures that he is hot for you. 2: Hand pointing in the direction of his pelvis. If he has his hand in his front trouser pocket, or has his hand resting on his belt, with a finger pointing straight down to his pelvis then anyone looking at him is drawn to his crotch. His whole body is highlighting his groin in this highly sexual body language stance. 3: Stroking his nose. When a man spies a woman he is attracted to, then unconscious preening begins. Other body language gestures to look out for are rearranging his clothing, rubbing a finger along an eyebrow or pushing a hand through his hair. Along with the tie, the nose is a phallic symbol. 4: Playing with his tie. The tie is basically a signpost to his penis, according to body language experts. If he should start playing with or stroking his tie, then there is a great chance that he is interested in you. By taking the initiative yourself and stroking his tie admiringly, you are giving him a very strong sexual signal. 5: Sitting with legs wide open on the barstool. By sitting like this he is offering you a great view of his crotch. If he should start to rock back and forth on the stool as well, look out. The male body language here spells the one thing on his mind is you. 6: Standing with hands on his hips. By standing like this he is emphasizing his size. By taking up more space he is appearing larger and more domineering. In cave dwelling times females chose the bigger males for better means of survival, which explains why many girls go for the powerful and strapping type. 7: Pelvic display. The more enthusiastic the guy is, the further apart his legs will be, irrespective of whether he is standing up or sitting down. This is considered to be very primitive flirting body language and is also behavior seen in the monkey families. Basically he is showing you his fantastic package, on a purely subconscious level, of course. Guys have basic primal urges and are still operating off caveman instincts subconsciously. Men are still using the same body language as they did in prehistoric times, much of which is also seen in the animal kingdom. Compared to us girls, guys have a much smaller range of flirting body language gestures and those that they do use are very easy to spot. Luckily for us. Obviously reading his body can be easier than reading his mind. Look for groupings of the above for highly interested flirting signals. Three or more and he is yours! Fortunately, now we no longer live in caves, we can at least expect some civilized gestures such as a drink and conversation before being dragged off to the modern day equivalent of the cave. Cheers!
